Since choosing to work for myself my consulting, advising and organising skills have been challenged to the full whilst learning to be my own boss! In the last 10 years I have worked mainly 1:1 with professionals, corporate managers and small business owners who wanted to focus on their career concerns. This phase has undoubtedly been the most rewarding time of my professional working life. It also combined well with bringing up a family and my personal decision to progress my own career and professional development as a fully trained business coach and mentor.

My clients tell me they enjoy being listened to well whilst having a sounding board who also keeps them accountable! They have open access to any of my experience and resources and I learn from them too, so we become a partnership in their quest for lasting change in their working lives. This change takes many forms and I do not work to a set programme, believing each person to be a special blend of talents, skills and capabilities. This high level of individual attention seems much appreciated by my clients.

My coaching style is informal, friendly and focused on helping YOU make the changes you desire. Your commitment is required too - being aware of your needs and being committed to developing yourself plus a good measure of honesty with your coach goes a long way to producing the results you want.

I am a graduate of Corporate Coach U and hold the credential of Professional Certified Coach - PCC - awarded by the International Coaching Federation (ICF) to coaches who have demonstrated their coaching competence and ethical standards to a high level. Only a small number of people hold this credential in the UK at present. I am also a full and active member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD) and sit on the Coaching and Mentoring Faculty.
